I wanted to tell people here that CBD has been very effective for my anxiety, and helps with insomnia. For me, it was a cumulative effect, after a week of one dropper of oil, I can sleep very well at night. I feel like I am not polluting my body with commercial pharmaceuticals. The price of CBD oil is ridiculously high, however, I do seem to have less pain and get a better sleep when taken before bed. I just checked out Amazon and all of their hemp oil says it has no CBD in it, and yet they all claim to reduce stress and pain and allow you to get better sleep. So what is the deal? Is it all psychological? Of course the prices at Amazon are way cheaper too. I am going to try it.

Did you get an answer for this? I have the exact same scenario. I'm treating my TN with Tegretol, and recently tried CBD. I think I took too much and there are some weird drug interactions with Tegretol and I felt quite stoned....was alone and talking to myself in my head thinking I was Einstein. It freaked me out a bit but I think I took too much. I'm trying lower doses again as recently my TN seems to be resisting the meds, although I have had a lot of emotional stress, which seems to be a trigger. Thanks!! Anna

We now need a prescription to get the Hemp CBD in Canada yet I can walk into any medical marijuana shop w/o a prescription and get any type of medical marijuana product no problem. We will be legal for recreational use in Oct but need an Prescription for Hemp based. It’s ridiculous. Must be about who gets to make $.
I suffer with migraines, fibromyalgia, and arthritis. I pretty much hurt anytime I move. I’m on a regimen of meds, but ordered the Virgin Cannibis Hemp Oil (off of Amazon) and have had it two days. I took 3 tablespoons a day, gagging it down. I couldn’t bring myself to take it today, but I didn’t notice a difference after the second day, and I suppose I would notice something. Was it too soon, or should I be trying a different product? I really need something to alleviate the level of pain during movement, as it’s causing me to be more sedentary.
